NEH Office of Digital Humanities Program Officers

Perry Collins is a Senior Program Officer in the Office of Digital Humanities at the National Endowment for the Humanities. At the NEH, Perry is responsible for managing and developing grant programs, administrating the application review process, conducting outreach activities to educate potential applicants about funding opportunities, and providing guidance to NEH awardees throughout the course of their projects. In this position, she has overseen major awards to initiatives such as the Digital Public Library of America. Perry has previously worked on exhibitions and digital projects at the Kansas City Public Library. She holds a MS in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a MA in American Studies from the University of Kansas.

Jason Rhody is Senior Program Officer in the Office of Digital Humanities at the National Endowment for the Humanities. He received his PhD in English from the University of Maryland, and his scholarly research interests include book and interface design in 20th- and 21st-century literature, narrative theory, and game studies. Prior to joining NEH in 2003, Jason managed and advised digital humanities projects at the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities (MITH) and taught courses in literature and digital media.
